The 65th Foundation Anniversary Celebration marks another milestone in the life of the then Miagao Regional High School. Humbly starting as a secondary school in 1945, it steadily rose to prominence and today stands the Southern Iloilo Polytechnic College - Western Visayas College of Science and Technology Miagao Campus serving the First Congressional District area. Guided by its fondest desire towards academic excellence and the holistic development of human beings, the school continues to make its stride in the field of education. It endeavors to keep abreast with development in today’s age of information technology hurdling varied challenges. It takes pride and is deeply honored by the life of its educates who certainly have their own contribution to the life of the nation as a whole.

To put more meaning to the celebration, the college came up with this Souvenir Book. It is hoped that this will be a living memento for everyone to cherish even as we extend our support to our Alma Mater.
